We never know what emergencies our family may experience, but we can plan for the most likely scenarios. In this course, we will make 3 plans for better family preparedness: evacuation plan, fire plan and stay at home plan. We will use your unique circumstances to devise a plan that will help your family react to emergency situations in a calm and practical manor. By practicing these with your family, everyone can be more prepared and less anxious about emergency situations they may face.
Hello! My name is Julie. My husband and I live on a 4 acre plot of land in Southwestern Colorado with our 3 teenage children. We love this part of the country with its mountain views and beautiful seasons.
We have enjoyed homesteading over the years with a large garden, chickens, rabbits and bees.
A house fire in 2014 made us more aware of emergency preparedness and what we can do to be more prepared. We hope to share the things we have learned over these past 4 years to get your family ready for whatever disasters or emergencies come your way. This training is not fear based, but rather giving students peace of mind every day.
